What are the requirements?

• No prior knowledge of Fusion 360 is required. Fusion 360 will run on a PC or a Mac-based computer. A three button scroll-wheel mouse is recommended. Access to the internet while using Fusion 360 will be necessary to save files and perform cloud renderings.

What am I going to get from this course?

• Apply principles of the industrial design process: sketching, CAD modeling techniques, exploration of product form, prototyping, simulation, CAM, and manufacture
• Describe and apply sustainable design concepts: whole systems and lifecycle thinking, lightweighting, product lifetimes, and green materials selection
• Demonstrate Fusion 360 CAD / CAM knowledge and skills

• Beginning students who are interested in learning CAD for product design.
